Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Production Writer, Copy Editing to ensure efficient workflow within the copy team. The role involves managing the flow of work between creative and production departments, ensuring on-time delivery of assets, and upholding client standards. The Production Writer will collaborate with writers, designers, editors, creative producers, and creative directors to produce deliverables across various channels.

Role involves:

• Managing handoff of copy to creative partners.
• Collaborating on priorities, resources, and milestones.
• Managing workflow for copy and other assets.
• Providing direct support to creative leadership.
• Participating in post-launch analysis.
• Defining best practices in the content handoff process.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in copy workflow management.
• In-depth knowledge of the creative development process.
• Passion for editing and understanding of messaging.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to deal with changing schedules.
• Strategic thinking and collaborative skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of digital production workflow tools.
