iCapital is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Platform Operations team in Lisbon, Portugal. iCapital is powering the world’s alternative investment marketplace. The company's platform transforms how advisors, wealth management firms, asset managers, and banks evaluate and recommend bespoke public and private market strategies for their high-net-worth clients.

The Assistant Vice President will support the technical and operational requirements across iCapital’s platform offerings, including ongoing maintenance, customization, and feature development. The ideal candidate will be committed to learning and growth, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and bring a client-centric approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all interfaces on the iCapital platform and proactively identify and address issues.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to scope, prepare, and manage tasks essential for successful platform and fund launches.
  • Configure and customize platform settings, manage user setup, map offering documents, and test configurations for quality prior to launch.
  • Respond to platform update requests using the team’s ticketing system and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders, including managing and prioritizing project deliverables with the Operations Platform Support team.
  • Contribute to process guide updates, incorporating new solutions and product enhancements.
  • Assist with updating team documentation (e.g., process guides) as new product solutions and enhancements emerge.
  • Lead efforts to implement and troubleshoot integration connections between clients, vendors, and iCapital.
  • Support data integration with clients and vendors and may participate and/or lead customer demonstrations as enhancements or new solutions are introduced.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in a related industry with 3+ in platform operations, middle office operations, or similar functions within fintech, financial services, or alternatives.
  • Exposure to technical platform integration, business processes, and workflows is advantageous.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Able to quickly learn new business operations, processes, and procedures.
  • Able to prioritize assignments with excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative, passion, and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves, get the job done, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
  • Self-driven with a collaborative spirit, capable of working independently and as a team player.
  • Client-focused, with a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Technical expertise including comfort with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools and an understanding of databases; experience with SQL is a plus.
