Job Description
iCapital is seeking a Regional Director to join their West Regional Alternative Investment Sales team. This role involves alternative investment product sales and advisor education for registered investment advisors, regional and independent broker dealers, and bank trust clientele. The Regional Director will report to the Western Regional Managing Director and will be a key part of iCapital’s Alternatives Distribution team.Responsibilities include:
  • Generating alternative investment product sales.
  • Promoting iCapital’s US Marketplace menu to advisors and clients.
  • Traveling within the coverage territory to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Leveraging a consultative sales process to meet client needs and cross-sell capabilities.
  • Remaining well-versed on iCapital's offerings of private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Leading and managing new manager roll-out processes.
  • Working in partnership with asset management partners to raise capital.
  • Leading efforts on CRM usage and sales pipeline maintenance.
Requirements include:
  • 10+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry in a client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to sell and support a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses.
  • Must obtain CAIA within 3 years of hire
