Perplexity AI, experiencing rapid growth since launching its conversational answer engine, seeks an empathetic and adaptable User Operations Generalist to join their dynamic team. The User Operations team is the frontline of the user experience, dedicated to ensuring that the AI-powered search and question-answering platform delivers exceptional value to its diverse user base. This role is the primary advocate for users, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the platform. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology while honing customer experience skills.

Role involves:
  • Providing outstanding customer support through various channels.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the AI-powered platform.
  • Identifying and escalating complex issues to appropriate teams.
  • Collecting and analyzing user feedback.
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of user-facing documentation.
  • Assisting in user onboarding processes and creating educational content.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in customer support, user operations, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and support ticketing tools.
  • Basic understanding of AI and search technologies.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
