Senior Product Designer I (Remote Eligible)

Job Description

Smartsheet, a company empowering teams to manage projects and automate workflows, is seeking a Senior Product Designer I. In this role, the individual will shape the future of work by creating engaging and intuitive user experiences for Smartsheet's web and mobile applications. The Senior Product Designer will advocate for user needs, optimize experiences through A/B testing, and collaborate with research and data teams to inform design decisions.Role involves:

• Advocating for the needs of the audience leveraging design thinking.
• Optimizing experiences through A/B testing and experimentation.
• Partnering closely with research and data teams to inform design decisions.
• Boosting design quality through work and collaboration.
• Contributing to and using defined patterns, guides, tools, and libraries.
• Explaining and defending the context, merits, and goals of ideas and solutions.
• Working cross-functionally with partners and cross-product relationships.
• Creating understanding across product teams to launch new features and evolve existing ones.
• Building and iterating on features that enrich customer experience.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
• Strong visual design skills and ability to influence design quality.
• Ability to deliver complex experiences that scale within SAAS or enterprise environments.
• Exudes leadership qualities demonstrated through work and mentoring others.
• Experience facilitating activities to align on goals, outcomes and requirements.
• Applied understanding of the relationships between hierarchy, interaction, typography, color, and layout.
• Desire to learn and evolve thinking across all areas of design, product, and leadership.
• Degree in Design or equivalent experience.
