Technology Strategy Analyst

Appian is seeking a Technology Strategy Analyst to join their Chief Technology Office in McLean, Virginia. This role is central to Appian's long-term technological vision, focusing on strategic partnerships and corporate development. The Technology Strategy Analyst will support the Founder and CTO by researching emerging technologies, analyzing market trends, and preparing executive communications.Appian is a software company that automates business processes. The Appian AI-Powered Process Platform includes everything you need to design, automate, and optimize even the most complex processes, from start to finish.Role Involves:

• Supporting and maintaining partnerships with other technology companies.
• Performing operational tasks in support of technology strategy and partnerships.
• Researching competitive and emerging technologies.
• Preparing data-driven analysis reports and executive summaries.
• Attending internal and external conferences and user groups.
• Supporting the CTO team in executive strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Management consulting experience or training.
• Experience working with C-level executives.
• Strong presentation software skills (Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.
• Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce) and analytics tools (Excel, Tableau).
• Experience with low-code, traditional coding, and software development.
• A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required.
