Job Description
Appian is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Federal Customer Success team in McLean, Virginia. This role involves being a technical leader and advisor to Appian’s clients, focusing on installing, operating, and scaling the Appian platform, as well as scaling business process applications. The ideal candidate will combine Appian technical, product, and business skills to ensure customer success. Appian values in-person collaboration and expects employees to be in the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer interaction (verbal, written, face-to-face).
- Administer and manage on-prem installations of Appian environments.
- Administer one or more RDMS platforms (e.g. MySql, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Postgres, MariaDB).
- Programming / scripting (e.g. Java, Javascript, BASH, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration.
- Top Secret level government clearance.
- US Citizenship.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
