Infra Program Manager

Job Description

Capco, a Wipro company, is seeking an Infra Program Manager to manage technology infrastructure and assets across locations. The candidate will coordinate with the team to maintain and support the company's technology hardware and software. This role involves managing large infrastructure transformation/migration projects for Hybrid cloud using agile methodologies.

The Infra Program Manager will manage emerging technologies, recommend cost-effective solutions, and build relationships with vendors. They will also oversee technical, commercial, and service elements related to cloud migration projects, including building IaaS/PaaS infrastructure landing zones.

Role Involves:

• Managing technology infrastructure and assets.
• Managing large infrastructure transformation/migration projects for Hybrid cloud.
• Managing emerging technologies and recommending cost-effective solutions.
• Acquiring new software and hardware and negotiating service contracts.
• Developing processes to streamline and automate routine tasks.
• Managing capacity planning for hardware servers and storage.
• Developing test plans and test cases for application/database readiness.
• Managing efforts to build and deliver System and Storage infrastructure on hybrid cloud.

Requirements:

• Expert level technical knowledge in DC technologies (OS, Virtualization, Hypervisors, Database & Networking) and public cloud services (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Strong experience in managing cloud migration projects and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud migration technologies (Cloud Readiness Assessment, TCO, Cost analysis).
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
• Working knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Experience in system administration tasks for Windows or Linux.
• Experience in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash Shell, Python).
• Working knowledge of microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong senior stakeholder engagement and management experience.
• Experience in acquiring new software and hardware and negotiating service contracts.
• Experienced in planning, tracking, and execution of Infrastructure projects for FS customers.
• Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of Business/Customer needs and drivers for change.
• Working knowledge in implementing various infrastructure monitoring tools for Hybrid cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical skills.
