Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (Network Architect) to deliver health IT solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for advanced network solutions and provide consultation across existing and emerging cloud environments. This role involves designing resilient cloud infrastructure, managing next-gen firewalls, and defining standards for secure network components on a public cloud platform.Altera is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.Responsibilities:

• Design and configure Azure Network Infrastructure.
• Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions for network infrastructure operations.
• Provide escalation-level support for network security issues.
• Implement and oversee infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Educate and mentor product teams and junior engineers.
• Document process, platforms, and workflow details.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Network and Security domain.
• Strong knowledge of Networking protocols (NFV, Routing, LAN Switching, WAN, TCP/IP).
• Experience in configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco ASA /or Sonicwall / Palo-Alto).
• Expert level experience with NGFW like Palo Alto, Cisco FMC/ASA AnyConnect.
• Experience in designing, implementation, and management of large-scale enterprise network.
• Extended experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) and software-defined networking (SDN) concepts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
