Job Description
Easygo is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation and continuous learning, contributing to the development of Kick.com, Easygo's live video streaming platform. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the cloud environment meets high standards for performance and scalability.

Role involves:
  • Optimising systems for performance and scalability.
  • Designing high-performance software solutions.
  • Improving system monitoring and logging.
  • Ensuring system security.
  • Hands-on coding and development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (Terraform, Golang etc).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts.
  • Experience with AWS native services (EC2, Lambda, Codebuild, Eventbridge).
  • Domain experience with AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform / Terragrunt, and Datadog / Cloudflare.
  • Understanding of security best practices.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
