Job Description
Vonage is seeking a Sr API Support Engineer to provide technical support to strategic customers using real-time communication APIs and SDKs. The candidate will manage customer-related projects, collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and other teams. Role involves:
  • Investigating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to customer API and SDK implementations.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying bugs and escalating to Product/Engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years as a Support Engineer in telecommunications or SaaS.
  • Experience with messaging technologies like SMPP, GSM, SMS.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese.
