Product Designer

Job Description

Vonage is seeking a Product Designer to contribute to the innovation of cloud communications for businesses globally. The Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft user-centered designs that address business and user challenges. This role involves working on diverse design projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring alignment with both user needs and business objectives. The Product Designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive experiences across various platforms.

Role Involves:

• Defining product requirements and creating design solutions.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• Participating in user research and using feedback to improve designs.
• Developing and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency.
• Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are implemented well.
• Contributing fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions.
• Iterating on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
• Staying updated on design trends and tools to improve user experiences.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of product design experience with a solid portfolio.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma or similar.
• Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to work well with product managers, developers, and other designers.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
