Senior Software Engineer- Snowflake Administrator

Job Description

Convera is seeking a Senior Software Engineer- Snowflake Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Snowflake environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and AWS experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Snowflake environments.
• Manage roles, users, and access controls.
• Monitor and optimize compute resources and query performance.
• Design and optimize schema, tables, and views.
• Implement data ingestion pipelines.
• Integrate Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Automate administrative tasks using Python, SQL, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot Snowflake-related issues.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Snowflake administration, architecture, and security.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
