impact.com is seeking a Global Clearinghouse Specialist (GCHS) to join their team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. The GCHS will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Global Clearinghouse, contributing to the improvement of financial functionalities based on client feedback, and serving as a key point of contact for finance-related issues.
Role Involves:
- Executing Media Partner Payments and capturing Advertiser Deposits daily.
- Processing clearinghouse operations tickets via IRACCT Jira software.
- Compiling 1099 tax return documents for US Media Partners.
- Updating treasury bank account balance trackers daily.
- Processing “Do Not Pay” tickets and ensuring media partner compliance.
- Creating client statements of accounts and handling audit requests.
- Managing clearinghouse treasury accounts and ensuring sufficient funds.
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and updating payment statuses.
- Executing Credit Memos, Manual Invoicing, Accounting Adjustments, and Digital Wallet Transfers.
- Acting as a knowledge resource for internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing finance-specific training as needed.
- Processing partner transaction funding documents via tools like Ariba, Tungsten, Coupa, and in-house client ERP systems.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in technology, finance, banking, or treasury.
- Problem-solving skills, results-oriented approach, and attention to detail.
- Organized and motivated work ethic.
- Ability to work in a high-paced, high-energy environment.
- Experience in an international company is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Google Sheets/JIRA is advantageous.
- Knowledge of US/EU tax legislation is advantageous.
- Relevant Finance Diploma/Commerce Degree is required; Microsoft Office Certification and SQL certification are advantageous.
