Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to provide business-driven consulting to prospective and existing customers in the Public Sector & Retail Industries. The Solutions Engineer will leverage their expertise in the Contact Center space to help the Sales team establish market and deal-level visibility, differentiating Talkdesk's solutions from the competition. This role requires a credible thought leader who can confidently address C-level discussions and expand revenue opportunities.Responsibilities include:
- Understanding customer-specific needs and providing business-driven consulting.
- Providing business-centric expertise to the Sales team.
- Moving between key facets of the sales cycle, from pre-sales to post-sale upsell.
Requirements include:
- Deep understanding of CCaaS and the Contact Center space.
- Exceptional customer responsiveness and cross-team collaboration.
- Excellent consulting, listening, and communication skills.
- Expert facilitation skills for meetings and group activities.
- Superior presentation skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Self-directed work habits and strong teamwork skills.
- 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience in a related SaaS field.
- 2+ years of related industry experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
