Job Description
Google DeepMind is seeking an Extended Workforce Operations Specialist to join their Business Operations team in London. This role focuses on developing and managing extended workforce solutions, reducing bureaucracy, and maintaining high governance, compliance, and risk management standards. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to the business, providing support and guidance throughout the external workforce lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the business on resourcing needs and third-party engagement models.
- Providing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the external workforce lifecycle.
- Tracking and reporting on the external workforce population.
- Facilitating discussions regarding contract extensions and work transitions.
- Collaborating with Systems and Security to develop access management policies.
- Troubleshooting issues related to external workforce operations.
- Designing and implementing a concierge onboarding solution.
- Developing and leading a Supplier Induction programme.
- Identifying opportunities to optimise and automate approval processes.
Requirements:
- Experience with Vendor Management, Procurement, or Contingent Workforce Operations.
- Experience building and optimising operational processes.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Problem-solving skills.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies (advantage).
