Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

BitGo is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join its Blockchain Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will help build high-quality software and platforms for BitGo's enterprise clients. BitGo processes a significant amount of cryptocurrency transactions, so applications need to be fast, accurate, scalable, and secure. The integrated platforms interact with a number of exchanges, agencies, and governments around the world.Role involves:

• Developing, maintaining & executing automated test plans and test scripts.
• Conducting user experience testing and reporting bugs.
• Documenting and tracking defects effectively.
• Conducting REST API testing and SDK testing.
• Collaborating with team members on understanding features and devising test plans.
• Analyzing application logs and ensuring defects are fixed.
• Contributing to a test-driven engineering development culture.
• Implementing process improvements.
• Creating and understanding coverage reports for unit tests.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in testing domain.
• Proficiency in writing test scripts in at least one programming language.
• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Rest Assured automation.
• Experience developing a stable automation framework.
• Understanding of different automation frameworks.
• Experience with JIRA or similar tools.
• Experience with automation and manual testing for UI & API applications.
• Experience writing test cases and scripts.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
