Cyber Infrastructure Engineer

Darktrace is seeking a Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer to join their Professional Services organization. The successful candidate will ensure Darktrace is deployed, integrated, and optimized to the highest standards, providing clients with industry-leading, AI-powered cyber security protection.This role involves assisting customers with deploying Darktrace technology within network, cloud, OT, and email environments. The engineer will lead and become a trusted advisor to key customers in their security infrastructure design and planning. They will complete deployment projects on or before expected Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and integrate new systems into existing network architecture. On the support side, they'll efficiently manage customer support tickets to assist with technical issues and proactively engage with customers to help maintain a healthy deployment. In this position they'll be maintaining and enhancing communication between all go-to-market teams, including sales, customer success, and operations.What the role involves:

• Assisting customers with deploying Darktrace technology
• Leading and advising customers on security infrastructure design
• Completing deployment projects on or before expected SLOs
• Integrating new systems into existing network architecture
• Managing customer support tickets
• Maintaining communication between go-to-market teams

Requirements:

• Technical educational background or experience as a Network, Cloud, OT, or SOC Engineer
• Basic knowledge of computer networking protocols, LAN and WAN, cyber security principles, and the OSI reference model
• Entry-level understanding of network and cloud architecture design, configurations, principles, and best practices
• Basic familiarity with OT network principles and practices based on the Purdue model
• Foundational level knowledge and/or certifications with industry-standard vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, or Palo Alto Networks
