Job Description
Tide, a business management platform for small businesses, is seeking a KYC Policy and Procedure Manager to support the definition and implementation of 1st Line of Defence policies and procedures within the KYC organization, covering the UK and EU (France). This role is crucial in ensuring that KYC practices align with regulatory requirements and internal policies across these jurisdictions. The KYC Policy and Procedure Team acts as a bridge between policy setters and operational teams, translating regulatory requirements into actionable policies.
Role involves:
- Assisting in interpreting financial crime regulations for the EU (France) and UK.
- Contributing to the drafting and maintenance of KYC policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and assessing current processes for policy adherence.
- Supporting the KYC Product function for regulatory and policy compliance.
- Collaborating with the 2nd Line of Defence on policy changes.
- Assisting in audits and oversight from banking partners.
- Implementing new regulatory requirements within KYC for the UK and EU.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of financial crime regulations in the EU (France) and UK.
- Familiarity with 4AMLD-6AMLD.
- At least three years of experience in a 1st Line of Defence function, Risk & Compliance, or Internal Audit.
- Pragmatic approach to balancing regulatory requirements with customer service and commercial objectives.
- Ability to draft clear, concise policies and procedures.
- Experience in challenging senior stakeholders.
- Background in business banking within an ACPR, AMF or CSSF regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of French is a great advantage.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
