Escrow Officer

Job Description

HomeLight is seeking an Escrow Officer to be the key to home ownership for its clients. This role is based in Glendale, CA and follows a hybrid office schedule.As an Escrow Officer, the candidate will be the human link between HomeLight's process and people, reviewing contracts, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately, and working with real estate agents and clients to keep the process moving forward. They will verify titles, taxes, and loans, and ensure funds and property change hands only when all terms are met.Responsibilities:

• Ensure contract closure is prompt, efficient, and error-free.
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry players.
• Earn the confidence and trust of new agents and retain agents.
• Train escrow assistants, delegate tasks, and audit work.
• Be present at closing to create a positive experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of escrow officer experience.
• Notary public and escrow officer licenses as per local requirements.
• Technical knowledge of the closing process.
• Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
