Lightspeed is seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative to support the sales of golf products. This role serves as the initial point of contact for potential clients, focusing on driving revenue growth by identifying relevant leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate possesses experience in prospecting or selling technology solutions and is eager to advance their sales career.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new clients by contacting golf course managers via phone and email to introduce services.
  • Managing a territory encompassing multiple states/provinces in North America.
  • Building relationships with potential clients through sales efforts and presenting services as a solution to simplify their operations.
  • Assuming responsibility for messaging and establishing cadences within the assigned territory.
  • Leveraging sales opportunities through the existing client database.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to devise new strategies for expanding the sales pipeline and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Passion for golf.
  • Experience in technology (software, mobile, or other) is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and resourceful.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or other relevant degree.
  • Good command of technology, with the ability to understand beginners.
  • Great personality and entrepreneurial spirit.
