Job Description

Scale is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join their Enterprise GenAI team. The company aims to accelerate AI application development and has been a leading AI data foundry for eight years. The Applied AI Engineer will collaborate with clients to create ML solutions, ranging from AI cybersecurity firewalls to transformative AI experiences in journalism, utilizing Scale's Generative Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, plan, and optimize the AI behind Enterprise customer's technical problems.
  • Leverage SGP to build advanced AI agents with multimodal functionality and tool-calling.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Meet regularly with customer teams onsite and virtually.
  • Push production code in multiple development environments.
  • Multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.

Requirements:

  • A love for solving complex technical problems using state-of-the-art AI.
  • Strong engineering background (Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field).
  • Experience with a data-driven approach to machine learning models.
  • Experience working with cloud technology stack (AWS or GCP).
  • Proficiency in Python for coding, testing, and debugging.
