Job Description
Teads, the omnichannel outcomes platform for the open internet, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their growing Tokyo team. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth across agencies and brands. The Sales Manager will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for identifying and securing new revenue opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering solutions that align with client goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in driving business growth and a deep understanding of programmatic advertising.

What this role involves:
  • Identifying, pitching, and closing sales deals with media agencies and brands
  • Developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure client campaign expectations are met
  • Representing Teads as a brand ambassador in the online advertising marketplace
  • Ensuring high client satisfaction to generate renewals and increase revenue
  • Hitting quarterly revenue targets


Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of digital advertising sales experience
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape and programmatic advertising
  • Proven connections with major advertising agencies
  • Good technical knowledge of ad-serving and tracking technologies
  • Proven track record of winning large accounts
  • Team player with the ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve queries efficiently and multitask
  • Entrepreneurial and solution-driven mentality
  • Fluent in Japanese, with business-level English as a plus
