Lead Data Analyst

Job Description

Overjet is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team. The Lead Data Analyst will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and customer success teams to deliver for Overjet's customers. This role will have significant input into how the company develops its analytics to better support internal and external stakeholders at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design analytical solutions.
• Utilize Python, SQL, business intelligence tools, and statistical techniques to analyze large and complex data sets.
• Collaborate on the construction and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Create compelling data visualizations and products to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to external customers, providing expertise on analytics best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers on data products and infrastructure.
• Create strong documentation to ensure users interpret KPIs and data consistently.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic background in a quantitative and analytic related field.
• Significant experience in data analytics/science with increasing responsibility.
• Excellent technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and data transformation tools.
• Strong familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience leading engagements with external customers on analytics projects.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in SaaS, B2B software, and at a high-growth startup.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
