Job Description

Labelbox is seeking a Product Engineering Leader to shape the future of AI. This role involves leading the Poland-based engineering team, taking full ownership of the Alignerr platform, and driving its evolution to meet the demands of frontier AI development. The leader will work closely with leadership to define vision, prioritize work, and execute with excellence.

The Product Engineering Leader will be responsible for:

  • Owning the Alignerr platform, a core product for AI services.
  • Defining the vision and setting priorities for the platform's evolution.
  • Building and leading a high-performing engineering team in Poland.
  • Ensuring the platform supports expert hours across various AI tasks.
  • Making architectural decisions and leading implementation across the stack.
  • Representing Labelbox within Poland's engineering community.

The ideal candidate should bring:

  • Passion for AI and interest in shaping AI-driven products.
  • Proven success in building and scaling impactful engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in scalable architecture, distributed systems, and modern frameworks.
  • Experience in building and operating cloud-native systems (AWS/GCP preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI development and products.
  • A track record of recruiting and growing engineering talent.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to inspire teams.
  • Comfort working independently and in a startup environment.
