Job Description
Luminar Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator to maintain a secure network environment and support infrastructure initiatives. The Network Administrator will collaborate with internal teams, design and implement LAN/WAN environments, and troubleshoot network issues. They will also manage VPN infrastructure and maintain network documentation.
Role involves:
- Collaborating with internal teams to assess network needs
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure LAN/WAN environments
- Leading and supporting infrastructure projects
- Analyzing and monitoring network performance
- Troubleshooting network issues
- Configuring and managing VPN infrastructure
- Administering and optimizing Meraki firewall appliances
- Maintaining network documentation
- Coordinating with internal departments and external vendors
- Providing support during non-standard hours
Requirements:
- Experience managing Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points
- Proficiency in SD-WAN and multi-site network architectures
- In-depth understanding of core networking protocols
- Experience deploying and managing ISP circuits and vendor coordination
- Expertise in VPN technologies and secure remote access implementation
- Strong grasp of network security concepts
- Familiarity with file storage systems and encryption methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Physically capable of lifting and transporting networking equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours when necessary
