Job Description
Flipdish is seeking an experienced and people-focused Engineering Manager to lead and grow engineering teams. This role is based in Dublin HQ and offers an exciting opportunity to drive Flipdish’s expansion. The Engineering Manager will cultivate effective teams and build effective engineering practices.
In this role, the Engineering Manager will:
- Work closely with product engineering teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Facilitate the adoption of agile practices.
- Support the career development of team members.
- Lead recruitment efforts and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Drive continuous improvement within teams.
- Take ownership of team goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee operational aspects like on-call support and service management.
Flipdish is looking for someone who has:
- Experience managing platform teams.
- Demonstrable experience in leading engineering teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- A proven track record in fostering strong team cultures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A background in software engineering and a deep understanding of agile practices.
