Job Description
Archer Aviation is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to contribute to the future of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) web and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for major consumer and operational interfaces, collaborating with designers and engineering teams to create user experiences for Archer's consumer mobile app.Role involves:
  • Building the front-end architecture of a ride-sharing product.
  • Developing user interfaces using React and/or React Native.
  • Translating design prototypes and product requirements into functional applications.
  • Implementing responsive UIs with a mobile-first mindset.
  • Participating in UI/UX design discussions.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and testable front-end code.
  • Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or 4+ years of experience).
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency with React and/or React Native.
  • Proficiency with modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience building mobile and/or web applications from scratch.
  • Understanding of front-end performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills.
