Job Description
Adyen is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join their team in Tokyo. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. This role involves creating scalable solutions for merchant integrations and providing guidance on payment best practices. The Implementation Engineer will collaborate with various teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences and drive continuous improvements.

Role involves:
  • Creating scalable and robust solutions for merchant integrations.
  • Serving as a consultative partner for merchants in e-commerce, point of sale, and platforms.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Overseeing high-quality project delivery and ensuring technical integrity.
  • Providing consultation on optimizing payment solutions.

Requirements:
  • 1-4 years of technical consultative experience with Web API solutions.
  • Experience reading code in JavaScript, Java, HTML, Python, or CSS.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and understand complex systems.
  • Knowledge of REST or similar API protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in Japanese and business English.
  • Experience in payments/fintech is advantageous.
