Job Description
OKX is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Design Systems Lead to elevate its design system. This role involves empowering designers across the organization to create cohesive, accessible, and high-quality experiences for customers. The Design Systems Lead will be responsible for creating and maintaining a robust and intuitive system of documentation, as well as iterating on and creating new components that evolve visual and interaction patterns across user touch points. He will support the design system through evaluative research, pixel-perfect mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and thoughtful interaction design.
- Designing, refining, and documenting intuitive and robust components.
- Partnering with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering.
- Designing micro interactions, transitions and animation for product touchpoints.
- Designing icons, components and asset libraries, including documentation.
- Evangelizing systems thinking and drive for consistent, high-quality craft.
- Collaborating with Product Design, Brand, and Product leadership.
- Elevating the quality of the design by soliciting feedback.
- Remaining current on industry and design trends.
- Working closely with Engineering to build robust, stateful components in Figma for multi devices.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of dedicated Design Systems experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in a Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design role.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity of designing for multiple platforms including native and responsive design.
- Systems thinking and experience building robust Design Systems and components in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer.
- Well versed in basic web development including HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Strong knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design.
- Experience using qualitative or quantitative data to inform and measure the impact of the work.
- Results-driven and adaptive to changes.
- Ability to mentor other designers on IxD, Design System, and patterns.
