AI Engineer Specialist

EBANX is seeking an AI Engineer Specialist to own the design and deployment of scalable AI systems in production. The ideal candidate will ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI solutions. This role involves close collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions.EBANX expects the AI Engineer Specialist to:

• Own the end-to-end design and deployment of AI systems.
• Develop and optimize AI models.
• Build and maintain production-grade infrastructure for AI applications.
• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and updates.
• Ensure AI systems comply with industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to AI systems.
• Mentor team members on best practices in AI engineering.

Requirements for this position include:

• Hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, or related roles.
• Expertise in developing impactful products leveraging advanced AI services (e.g., OpenAI's GPT, Google's Gemini, AWS Bedrock).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and data pipeline architectures.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions for AI systems.
• Awareness of security standards and compliance requirements.
