General Manager - SCM

Job Description

aCommerce is seeking a General Manager - SCM to oversee fulfillment operations in Bangkok, Thailand. The General Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling overall operations, including inbound, inventory, outbound, and return processes, with a focus on productivity and cost efficiency. The role involves participating in day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.

Role involves:

• Managing overall fulfillment operations
• Ensuring compliance with safety policies and company regulations
• Planning and scheduling operations resources
• Leading and motivating the team
• Driving quality initiatives and continuous improvement
• Documenting and tracking failures/errors

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
• 10+ years’ direct experience in a Manager role in warehouse operations
• Good in Excel & Good command of English
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
• Knowledge in Project management & Lean Sigma will be added advantage
• 3+ years management experience in a warehousing or distribution environment (Preferable B2C) and leadership experience required
