Actuarial Analyst - Pension Risk Transfer

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) team. This role involves deploying capital on acquisition and reinsurance PRT opportunities. The Actuarial Analyst will work closely with team members and senior business leaders, contributing to pricing and valuation due diligence, integration support, and the creation of presentation materials. The position is based in Stamford, CT, and requires in-office presence.Responsibilities include:

• Performing pricing and valuation due diligence on PRT transactions.
• Providing integration support for completed deals.
• Assisting in generating assumptions and financial projections.
• Assisting in creation of presentation materials.
• Performing data reconciliations and reporting on experience studies.
• Supporting ad-hoc projects and processes.
• Enhancing/streamlining existing processes, models, and management exhibits.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or Mathematics.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience at an insurance company and/or consulting firm, prefer experience including PRT.
• Strong skills in modeling and data analysis.
• Strong quantitative and technical abilities, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong experience and skills in Python.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as being a team player.
