Job Description
At-Bay is seeking a Cyber Underwriter/Senior Underwriter to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. At-Bay is an InsurSec provider that combines insurance with cybersecurity technology to offer prevention and protection for the digital age. The ideal candidate will manage and grow At-Bay’s core broker base and GWP, ensuring brokers receive world-class service. They will also propose and negotiate policy terms, analyze risk, and collaborate with various teams to enhance the underwriting process.
Role involves:
- Managing and growing At-Bay’s core broker base and GWP.
- Proposing and negotiating price, coverage, and terms for insurance policies.
- Soliciting and analyzing risk within At-Bay’s guidelines.
- Collaborating with cyber analytics, product, and marketing teams.
- Working with technology and data teams to enhance the underwriting process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an underwriter or account executive in cyber liability, Tech, Media E&O, Miscellaneous E&O, other E&O lines or specialty commercial insurance.
- Solid knowledge of specialty commercial underwriting and insurance industry practices.
- Strong technology affinity and ability to work with advanced analytics software.
- Technical background with knowledge of DNS, IP addresses, ports, databases, and networking concepts.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
- Driven and detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced tech environment.
