PR and Social Media Associate EST (Remote, USA)

Job Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a PR and Social Media Associate to enhance their brand narrative and media presence. This role involves working closely with the Senior Public Relations Manager and Lead Senior Social Media Manager to elevate Grafana's visibility in the tech ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Support social media content and campaigns.
• Assist in publishing and scheduling content across social media channels.
• Monitor conversations and engage with community members.
• Assist in managing Grafana Labs’ employee advocacy program.
• Support media relations efforts, including pitching stories and coordinating interviews.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage.
• Provide on-site support at company and industry events.
• Help manage, schedule, and publish Grafana’s Big Tent podcast.
• Support internal communications coordination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in social media marketing or public relations.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance brainstorming and creative workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel (~20%) globally.
• Proficiency in Sprout Social, Muckrack, BusinessWire is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and technologies.
• Proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.
