Data Center Physical Security Specialist

Job Description

CoreWeave, the AI Hyperscaler, is seeking a Data Center Physical Security Specialist to implement and enforce physical security standards and policies in its data centers. This role involves managing facility access, conducting audits, and administering access requests and revocations. The specialist will liaise with colocation partners, advocate for security, and create training programs.CoreWeave requires someone with in-depth knowledge of physical security principles, strong organizational skills, writing skills, and customer service aptitude. The position reports to the Physical Security Program Manager and requires up to 20% travel.Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day administration of security policy at CoreWeave’s data centers
• Work with our collocation partners to enforce security policy
• Produce timely audit reports
• Enforce a principle of “least privilege” for access
• Create security training programs
• Establish a regular cadence for security training
• Create an accessible archive of security policy documentation
• Onboard new employees
• Maintain a continuing security training program
• Regularly tour and inspect data centers
• Create inspection reports with findings
• Create a program to remediate findings and track to a successful conclusion
• Lead investigations of security incidents
• Be knowledgeable and have ownership of our customer’s security programs
• Meet regularly with CoreWeave customers to ensure we are meeting their needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years in the physical security field
• Law enforcement/military experience may be applicable if served in a physical security capacity
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using office tools such as MAC/Windows/Google Workspace
• Applicants must have work authorisation that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future
