IT Support Specialist

Job Description

Seesaw is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team in Amman, Jordan. This role will be the first international IT support team member and will report to the Director of IT in the US. The IT Support Specialist will collaborate with the IT Systems Administrator and a team of contractors to provide essential IT support to Seesaw's global workforce.Seesaw is dedicated to providing joyful and connected learning experiences for elementary students worldwide. • Provide white-glove service to Seesaw employees for all IT-related issues.
• Assist in onboarding new employees with devices, accounts, and essential tools.
• Support Macs, Windows PCs (Windows 11), iOS, and Android devices.
• Manage mobile devices through the Mobile Device Management system.
• Support Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom, Zoom Phone, and Slack.
• Test new tools and features, ensuring they meet user needs.
• Work with vendors to ensure effective IT service delivery.
• Document IT processes and maintain an internal knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the global IT team to solve technical issues and improve systems.
• Stay updated on IT trends and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of IT support experience in a fast-paced technology company.
• Experience working in a globally distributed environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in supporting macOS, Windows 11, iOS, and Android devices.
• Experience with Okta (or Azure AD), Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom, Slack, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with remote IT support tools.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the globe.
• Familiarity with inventory and project management tools and concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or professional certifications preferred.
