Job Description
JD Sports is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store's operations. The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales, managing costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team, manage inventory, and maintain store standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Role Involves:
- Driving store performance and achieving sales targets
- Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies for improvement
- Monitoring the competition and staying informed about market trends
- Leading and motivating the store team
- Developing and coaching managers and sales associates
- Managing human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensuring store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
- Managing inventory and minimizing losses
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues
