JD Sports is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store's operations. The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales, managing costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team, manage inventory, and maintain store standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Role Involves:

  • Driving store performance and achieving sales targets
  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies for improvement
  • Monitoring the competition and staying informed about market trends
  • Leading and motivating the store team
  • Developing and coaching managers and sales associates
  • Managing human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensuring store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
  • Managing inventory and minimizing losses
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues
