JD Sports is seeking a Directeur de Magasin (Store Manager) to lead their store in Chambéry, France. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong understanding of retail operations and a passion for driving sales and developing teams. This role requires a responsible and organized individual who can effectively manage all aspects of the store, from sales and customer service to team leadership and inventory management. The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring the store's success by meeting sales targets, controlling costs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Role Involves:

• Driving store performance through sales growth and cost reduction.
• Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on store activity.
• Monitoring the competition and staying informed about market trends.
• Leading and motivating a team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Ensuring the store is visually appealing and well-maintained.
• Managing inventory and minimizing losses.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
• Knowledge of merchandising and visual presentation techniques.
• Fluency in French.
