iOS Engineer

Job Description

SoundCloud is seeking an iOS Engineer to enhance the ad experience within its applications. The iOS Engineer will be responsible for working on SoundCloud's advertising components. The ideal candidate values clean code, enjoys writing unit tests, and is comfortable refactoring Objective-C code into Swift.SoundCloud is a multinational company with offices in the US, Germany, and the UK, offering a flexible work culture with opportunities for both in-person collaboration and remote work. • Working on SoundCloud's advertising components.
• Enhancing the ad experience in our applications.
• Refactoring Objective-C code and modularizing it using Swift.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, design, and analytics.

Requirements:

• Experience developing applications using Swift.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
• Comfortable writing unit tests with XCTest.
• Experience with advertising SDKs or user engagement features.
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies.
• Proactive and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
