Job Description
Scale AI is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Federal Engineering team. The engineer will design and implement scalable backend systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the platform roadmap and product strategy. This role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing scalable backend systems for Federal customers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute the vision for backend solutions.
  • Developing distributed systems, data-intensive applications, and machine learning infrastructure.
  • Building robust and reliable backend systems that can serve as standalone products.
  • Participating actively in customer engagements.
  • Contributing to the platform roadmap and product strategy for Scale AI's Federal business.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and experience in building data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies, learn new skills, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
