DFM Engineer

Job Description

Xometry, a digital manufacturing marketplace, is seeking a DFM Engineer to join their international team. This role is pivotal in connecting customers with manufacturing solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production. The DFM Engineer will act as a liaison between customers and suppliers, driving concurrent engineering activities and implementing product modifications. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate product development and launch into production.
• Act as a liaison between customer and supplier.
• Ensure transition from design to production.
• Implement product modifications.
• Ensure manufacturability and report production risk analyses.
• Lead product definition and ensure compliance to requirements.
• Perform DFM analysis.
• Apply production management system and engineering change management.
• Ensure successful completion of production stages on time.

Requirements:

• Higher engineering education in metal processing, design, or similar.
• 3+ years of experience as an engineer, preferably in automotive.
• Expert knowledge of metalworking methods.
• Knowledge of metal and plastic post-processes.
• Knowledge of structural materials and their machining properties.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Willingness to work in a fast-growing environment.
