Job Description
Nature's Bakery is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives at their Carson City, Nevada facility. The Quality Engineer will investigate customer complaints and support manufacturing operations to enhance product quality. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and optimize processes.Role involves:
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives.
  • Investigating customer complaints.
  • Supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Conducting failure analysis and trend assessments.
  • Monitoring quality metrics and generating reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Food Manufacturing Quality.
  • Experience with FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt ASQ certified preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (FSMA, SQF, HACCP, FDA).
