Job Description
Fashion Nova is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Development and Production for its Swim & Lingerie categories. This role involves overseeing the full product lifecycle, driving speed-to-market, ensuring fit accuracy, and fostering innovation. The Senior Manager will collaborate with Design, Technical, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure flawless execution from concept to customer. This position requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
Role involves:
- Leading product development across Swim and Lingerie categories.
- Translating fashion-forward concepts into rapid-turn product lines.
- Collaborating with Design and Buying to drive monthly drops and capsules.
- Analyzing performance, sell-throughs, and market trends.
- Overseeing all stages of development from tech pack to bulk approvals.
- Ensuring consistent fit and quality standards.
- Managing development timelines and tracking samples.
- Troubleshooting issues in fit, construction, and delivery.
- Working closely with Marketing and Creative teams.
- Coordinating with overseas vendors and factories.
- Partnering with Sourcing to ensure cost-efficient production.
- Managing and mentoring a team of product developers and/or coordinators.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Product Development and Production Experience
- Costing experience and negotiation skills
- Intermediate level understanding of G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator
- Excellent time-management and organization skills
- Deep knowledge of footwear construction, sourcing, and manufacturing processes
- Experience managing a global supplier base and complex product timelines
- Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and PLM systems; familiarity with 3D tools a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Supply Chain Management
- English, additional language(s) an advantage
