Job Description
Ocado Technology is seeking an Engineering Technician for their state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will play an integral part in delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance within the CFC.

Role involves:
  • Diagnosing equipment breakdowns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Completing repairs where possible.
  • Maintaining accurate data records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • Supporting the Engineering team to maintain and repair robots and enabling systems.
  • Working a shift pattern to support a 24/7 operation.

Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification (advantageous).
  • Hands-on experience.
  • Good technical understanding of automation hardware and software (ideally).
  • Good working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems (ideally).
  • Organised and meticulous with great analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable working safely at height.
  • Happy to work to a 24-hour shift pattern.
