Job Description
Sony Music is seeking a VP of Finance for the Asia & Middle East region. This role is a key member of the Finance Leadership team, supporting the financial strategy in the region. The VP of Finance will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and work closely with the finance and leadership teams in Asia & Middle East.
What this role involves:
- Developing and delivering strategic business plans.
- Providing support on business decisions.
- Leading the reporting process and budgetary planning.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Driving operational excellence and process improvement.
- Managing risk and costs.
- Acting as the South East Asia finance lead.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a complex, large-scale international organization within the Asia & Middle East region.
- Proven track record demonstrating commercial acumen and leadership.
- Functional finance expertise in financial management, analysis, reporting, and business planning.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices across Asia.
- Expertise in finance processes transformation and optimization.
- Experience in team management and development.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
