Lead Copywriter

Job Description

Cleo is seeking a Lead Copywriter to join their team. The Lead Copywriter will be responsible for developing standout, high-performing creative, mentoring junior writers, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is sharp, impactful, and unmistakably Cleo. This role requires a customer-obsessed, relentlessly-curious individual with a good sense of humor and a diverse portfolio.Role involves:

• Bringing Cleo's unique tone of voice to life across channels and campaigns.
• Owning copy development for a variety of creative projects.
• Contributing to and leading creative brainstorming sessions.
• Working closely with the design team and creative leadership.
• Mentoring junior writers.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of copywriting experience, including managing junior writers.
• Based on the US East Coast.
• Conceptual thinker who can bring ideas to life.
• Team player with excellent writing skills.
