Job Description

Interwell Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to join their Healthcare Data Analytics team. The Senior Data Analyst will analyze and interpret complex healthcare data to support strategic decision-making and improve population health outcomes. He/She will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to understand analytical needs, develop insights that drive healthcare initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and enhance patient care.Role involves:

• Analyzing large datasets from various sources.
• Developing and implementing advanced statistical models and algorithms.
• Conducting population health analyses.
• Creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
• Collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT teams.
• Staying current with industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL.
• Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, and/or SAS.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience in mentoring and training junior team members.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data sources.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of VBC, healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
