Design Lead (Contract Hourly Position)

Huge is seeking a Design Lead to work onsite in Austin, TX for a client renowned for crafting world-changing products and experiences. This is a contract hourly position lasting from the beginning of July until the end of August.

Role involves:

• Finalizing approved concepts and ensuring design adherence to standards.
• Selecting and implementing final imagery and iconography.
• Adding final red-line specifications and design standards.
• Facilitating design handoff to Development and Engineering teams.
• Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables.
• Providing oversight, guidance and coaching to production designers.

Requirements:

• Must know Photoshop and be proficient in image manipulation.
• Have a strong portfolio showcasing excellence in visual design.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• iPhone user, Apple Watch a bonus.
• Ability to lead junior designers.
• Strong team player with the ability to provide candid feedback.
• Ability to support light QA of images.
• Ability to learn the proprietary WYSIWYG tool (training provided).
• Collaborative problem solver.
• Ability to capture screenshots on demo devices and stitch together in Photoshop.
• Ability to upload images into client tool and identify hot spots.
• Light coding knowledge a plus.
• Can work on site in Austin, TX for the entire project duration.
