Job Description
Fictiv is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Monterrey, Mexico. This role involves financial planning, budgeting, and analysis of financial statements and reports. The Financial Analyst will develop financial models, prepare projections, and conduct strategic research and analysis. They will also collaborate with functional teams to provide financial guidance and support.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting month-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Assisting in the development of monthly and quarterly financial analysis frameworks.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial metrics, statements, and reports.
- Analyzing key business drivers and their impact on financial results.
- Collaborating with functional teams to provide financial guidance and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
- Developing critical financial projections and models to support global decision-making.
- Inspecting account books and accounting systems for efficiency and identifying potential risks for fraud.
- Organizing, analyzing, and maintaining financial records.
- Suggesting ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.
- Assessing financial operations, identifying risks and challenges, and making best-practices recommendations to management.
- Performing ad-hoc research and analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
